Volleyball Recap: False River Takes a Loss

False River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Livonia Wildcats. If the Gators were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

False River's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Livonia, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-10.

Looking ahead, False River will head out on the road to challenge Liberty Magnet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Livonia, they will square off against Catholic of Pointe Coupee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
