Basketball Recap: Bedford County CIA Takes a Loss

Bedford County CIA was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Legacy Christian Academy SAINTS 61-33. The Agents were not able to make up for their defeat to the SAINTS from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Bedford County CIA's loss came despite strong showings from Josiah Gorczyca and Silas Gorczyca. Josiah went 7 for 12 to rack up 15 points, while Silas almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 13 rebounds. Silas has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last six times he's played.

Bedford County CIA's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Legacy Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Bedford County CIA will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Great Commission at 7:00 p.m. on February 24th. Legacy Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
