Baseball Recap: Blanchet Catholic Extends Home Winning Streak to 18

Blanchet Catholic put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the St. Helens Lions a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Blanchet Catholic's victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games.
