Baseball Recap: Dekaney Takes a Loss

After flying high against Coldspring-Oakhurst on Friday, Dekaney came back down to earth. The Wildcats took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heights Bulldogs on Saturday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Dekaney's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Heights, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Dekaney will host Splendora at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Splendora has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Heights, they will face off against Nimitz at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
