Soccer Recap: Santa Fe Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against Zephyrhills back in December of 2024, Santa Fe Catholic came back down to earth. The Santa Fe Catholic Hawks lost 6-0 to the Fort Meade Miners on Tuesday. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Miners recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Santa Fe Catholic's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-4-2. As for Fort Meade, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Santa Fe Catholic face off against the Universal Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fort Meade, they will head out on the road to face off against Lakeland at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
