Volleyball Recap: McLane Comes Up Short

McLane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Edison Tigers. The Highlanders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

McLane started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-13.

McLane's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Edison, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

McLane will head out to challenge Justin Garza at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edison, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Sanger at 6:00 p.m.
