Basketball Recap: Boys' Home Takes a Loss

Boys' Home was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Shenandoah Valley HomeSchool Golden Eagles by a score of 53-50. The Hilltoppers lost against the Golden Eagles in their previous head to head back in December of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-44 score last time.

Boys' Home's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Shenandoah Valley HomeSchool, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Grace Christian the next time they take the court. Shenandoah Valley HomeSchool will head out to face Grace Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Boys' Home will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
