Softball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

If Eastern was riding high fresh off their 11-0 takedown of Bishop Eustace Prep on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings lost 15-3 to the Rancocas Valley Red Devils on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Red Devils: they've now lost six in a row.

Eastern's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Rancocas Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Eastern will look to defend their home field on Friday against West Deptford at 3:45 p.m. As for Rancocas Valley, they will venture away from home to take on Cherry Hill East at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
