Soccer Recap: Mt. Zion Takes a Loss

Mt. Zion lost against Atlanta Classical Academy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mt. Zion Eagles lost 7-0 to the Atlanta Classical Academy Cavaliers. The Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Atlanta Classical Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mt. Zion will welcome Trion at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atlanta Classical Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Cobb Christian at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. Atlanta Classical Academy is facing North Cobb Christian at the right time seeing as North Cobb Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
