Basketball Recap: Fairview Falls to Steele in First Game of Season

Fairview had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 76-65 to the Steele Comets. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Comets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Steele has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Fairview will square off against St. Edward at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Steele, they will take on Elyria Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
