Soccer Recap: Southside Comes Up Short

Southside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Perquimans Pirates, falling 4-0. The game was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Southside struggled afterwards.

Southside's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-1. As for Perquimans, they now have a winning record of 5-4-2.

Coming up, Southside will challenge Camden County at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Perquimans, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech at 4:30 p.m. on May 1.
