Softball Recap: Hesperia Comes Up Short

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Hesperia was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They lost 15-2 to the Silverado Hawks. The game marked the Scorpions' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Clarissa Martinez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Marlie Munoz, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.

Hesperia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Silverado, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

While Hesperia had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
