Volleyball Recap: Dwight Takes a Loss

Dwight lost against Pontiac back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Trojans fell just short of the Indians by a score of 2-1. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dwight started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-13, 15-5.

Morgan Dewald had a dynamite game For Pontiac., getting 28 assists and eight digs. That's the most digs Dewald has posted since back in October of 2024.

Dwight's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pontiac, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Dwight has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Woodland on the 30th. As for Pontiac, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Tri-Point on the 30th.
