Franklin Monroe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 7-1 to the Newton Local Indians. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Jets were already down 5-1.

Franklin Monroe will host West Liberty-Salem at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Newton Local, they will play host again on Thursday to welcome Dixie, where kickoff is scheduled at 5:30 p.m. Both have been evenly matched recently as the teams are 4-4-1 against one another since August of 2016.
