Baseball Recap: Liverpool Comes Up Short

Liverpool had taken Cicero-North Syracuse down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Warriors took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northstars. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Northstars earlier this season, when they won 8-5.

Liverpool's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Liverpool will head out to challenge Watertown at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, they will be playing at home against Fayetteville-Manlius at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
