Columbia Christian's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Taylor, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Columbia Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Emerson on the 23rd. As for Taylor, they have also already played their next matchup, a 1-1 tie against Harmony Grove on the 20th.
