Soccer Game Preview: Four Corners vs. Fort Meade

The Four Corners Coyotes will face off against the Fort Meade Miners at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

Four Corners is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Ridge Community just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Bolts could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept Four Corners happy, as they haven't lost a game since November 3rd.

Meanwhile, Fort Meade sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Lakeland on Monday. The win continues a trend for Fort Meade in their matchups with Lakeland: they've now won four in a row.

Joel Miranda was the driving force of Fort Meade's attack as he scored both of Fort Meade's goals, bringing his season total up to ten goals.

Fort Meade's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. Four Corners' draw gives them a new season record of 4-1-1.
