Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ridge Spring-Monetta). They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Horse Creek Academy Stallions 67-64. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Trojans as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Horse Creek Academy lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kamden Sauter, who posted 15 points. Amaree Roberson was another key player, putting up 15 points.

Ridge Spring-Monetta's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-12. As for Horse Creek Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
