Basketball Recap: Victory Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Victory Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were dealt a 57-29 loss at the hands of the Calistoga Wildcats. The Eagles lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 73-12 score last time.

Victory Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Calistoga, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Victory Christian Academy will head out to face off against Technology at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calistoga, they will face off against Roseland University Prep at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Calistoga has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
