Soccer Recap: Victory Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Victory Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ignite Athletics Flames. While losing is never fun, Victory Christian Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 268th in Indiana, while Ignite Athletics are ranked 38th in West Virginia).

Victory Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-14-2. As for Ignite Athletics, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Victory Christian Academy nor Ignite Athletics have any future games scheduled.
