Basketball Game Preview: Dakota Indians vs. Pearl City Wolves

The Dakota Indians will head out to face off against the Pearl City Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Dakota ended up a good deal behind Pecatonica and lost 52-34. The loss continues a trend for Dakota in their matchups with Pecatonica: they've now lost eight in a row.

Finley Banks put forth a good effort for the losing side as she almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Pearl City prevailed. They put the hurt on Durand with a sharp 43-23 win on Tuesday.

Dakota's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Pearl City, their victory bumped their record up to 10-16.

Dakota strolled past Pearl City in their previous matchup on January 8th by a score of 54-35. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dakota since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
