Basketball Recap: Edwardsville Finds Playoff Glory Versus Granite City

With a playoff win on the line, Edwardsville rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Granite City Warriors with a sharp 61-37 win. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 21 points or more this season.

Granite City's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jack Dutko, who posted 11 points. Another player making a difference was Javier Cass, who scored nine points.
