For the second straight game, La Joya will face off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo. The Coyotes will venture away from home to square off against the Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. La Joya is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

La Joya's last matchup with Pharr-San Juan-Alamo could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Coyotes lost 14-3 to the Bears. The Coyotes have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

For Pharr-San Juan-Alamo's part, the team relied heavily on Zeke Garza, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those four hits gave Garza a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Delgadillo, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, six RBI, and one double.

The victory was the 12th in a row for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, bringing their record up to 24-2-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for La Joya, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-9.
