It was a good run, but Trinity Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Garden Plain Owls. Knights fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Owls since Tuesday.

Trinity Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23.

Audrey Smith paced Trinity Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Smith got some help from Krista Eklund and her ten assists. Ava Deutsch controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Trinity Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2. As for Garden Plain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.
