Volleyball Recap: Ingleside Takes a Loss

Ingleside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws.

Hailee Freeman paced Ingleside's offense, picking up four kills. Freeman got some help from Kyleigh Ralston and her ten assists. Finally, Emalee Davila kept Ingleside's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Ingleside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Jourdanton, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Ingleside has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Refugio on the 15th. As for Jourdanton, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Stockdale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
