Basketball Recap: Apalachee Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

Apalachee took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They managed a 50-44 victory over the Mountain View Bears. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 64-32 win the Bears walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2021.

Sophia Beaty had an outrageously good game as she almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Tay Johnson was another key player, putting up five points and 11 boards.

Apalachee didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-39 loss against Loganville Christian Academy on the 13th. Mountain View has also already played their next matchup (against Salem), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
