Basketball Recap: Apalachee Starts Season with Win Against Mountain View + How To Watch

Apalachee gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They secured a 49-44 W over the Mountain View Bears. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 64-32 loss the last time these two teams met.

Apalachee found their leader in sophomore Sophia Beaty, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tay Johnson, who posted five points and 11 boards.

Looking ahead, Apalachee will venture away from home to square off against Loganville Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mountain View, they will welcome Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
