Volleyball Recap: Providence Cristo Rey Comes Up Short

Providence Cristo Rey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the International Gryphons, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wolves of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

Providence Cristo Rey's record now sits at 0-6. As for International, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Providence Cristo Rey will challenge rival Indianapolis Washington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, International is set to face off against their familiar foe Greenwood Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on the 25th.
