Baseball Recap: Standing Bear Grizzlies vs. Lincoln Northeast Rockets
Standing Bear extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 7-16 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lincoln Northeast Rockets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rockets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in March.

Jaxson Minzel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. Standing Bear is 4-1 when Minzel posts two or more runs, but 3-15 otherwise.

Standing Bear does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln Northeast, they will square off against Lincoln Southwest at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Silver Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.1 runs per game this season.
