They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Woodstock Academy Centaurs. This was payback for the Lancers, who suffered a 5-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Waterford's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Woodstock Academy, their loss ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waterford will venture away from home to square off against Montville at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Woodstock Academy, they will square off against Fitch at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Centaurs are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
