Basketball Recap: Red Rock Central Takes a Loss

Red Rock Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Edgerton Flying Dutchmen and fell 75-28. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-21 back in December of 2024.

Red Rock Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Edgerton, their victory bumped their record up to 8-12.

Red Rock Central will be playing in front of their home fans against Westbrook-Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westbrook-Walnut Grove will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Red Rock Central surely won't give up without a fight. As for Edgerton, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-46 victory against Elkton/Lake Benton on the 25th.
