Centennial has gone 9-1 against Joshua recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Centennial Spartans will welcome the Joshua Owls at 7:00 p.m. Centennial will be strutting in after a victory while Joshua will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, everything went Centennial's way against Everman as Centennial made off with a 59-34 win. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 671st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Joshua ended up a good deal behind Seguin on Friday and lost 56-41. The loss continues a trend for the Owls in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Centennial is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season. As for Joshua, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-18.

Centennial didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Joshua in their previous matchup back in January, but they still walked away with a 55-49 victory. Will Centennial repeat their success, or does Joshua have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
