Football Recap: Center Point Takes a Loss

Center Point lost against Harper back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates were dealt a 40-6 loss at the hands of the Longhorns. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Center Point now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Harper, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Center Point will head out to challenge Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Harper, they will face off against Ozona at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Longhorns will need to watch out since the Lions have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
