Volleyball Recap: Hillsdale Comes Up Short

Hillsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Half Moon Bay Cougars. The Fighting Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

While Hillsdale was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-21.

Hillsdale's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Half Moon Bay, their victory ended a five-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 11-11.

While Hillsdale had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
