It was a good run, but Plattsburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They received a blow as they fell 61-47 to the Lexington Minutemen. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Minutemen apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Plattsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Plattsburg Tigers challenge the Lawson Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lexington, they will challenge Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Richmond knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Lexington likes a good challenge.
