Central Heights lost to Huntington back in May of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Central Heights Blue Devils never let the Huntington Red Devils get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Blue Devils have posted against the Red Devils since April 5, 2022.

Central Heights has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. With the loss, Huntington broke their 13-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-2.
