Softball Game Preview: Eatonville Cruisers vs. Clover Park Timberwolves

Eatonville has gone a perfect 6-0 against Clover Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eatonville Cruisers will look to defend their home field against the Clover Park Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. This will be Eatonville's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.

Eatonville came up short against Morton/White Pass on Wednesday, falling 15-7. The Cruisers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aubree Mills made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Ava Twedt was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Clover Park had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of Kent-Meridian by a score of 17-16. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Eatonville now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Clover Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Eatonville took their win against Clover Park in their previous matchup back in April of 2021 by a conclusive 35-0. Will Eatonville repeat their success, or does Clover Park have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
