Recap: Hunterdon Central Red Devils vs. Hillsborough Raiders

After flying high against the Trenton Central Tornadoes last Saturday, the Hunterdon Central Red Devils came back down to earth. Hunterdon Central took a 47-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hillsborough on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hunterdon Central has scored all season.

Hillsborough got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Aadit Shah out in front who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shah has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Philip Unangst, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.

Hunterdon Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Hillsborough, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Hunterdon Central will head out on the road to take on North Hunterdon at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Hunterdon will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Hillsborough, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Governor Livingston at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Governor Livingston will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings (they are ranked 172nd, while Hillsborough is ranked 36th).
