Softball Recap: King Comes Up Short

If King was riding high fresh off their 17-0 takedown of John Paul II on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The King Brahmas came up short against the Veterans Memorial Chargers on Saturday, falling 11-5.

King's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Veterans Memorial, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

King has already played their next contest, an 8-7 defeat against Rockport-Fulton on the 1st. As for Veterans Memorial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-2 loss against Tuloso-Midway on the 1st.
