Basketball Recap: Rangeview Find Success

Rangeview won the last time they faced Denver South, and Nylah Duncan did her part to make sure it happened again. The Rangeview Raiders walked away with a 43-33 victory over the Denver South Ravens on Friday thanks in part to Duncan, who went 5 for 11 en route to 12 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed four or more in the last three games she's played.

Despite the loss, Denver South saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ka'Niya Anderson posted ten points and seven rebounds.

Rangeview's record is now 8-4. As for Denver South, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-5.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Denver East the next time they take the court. Denver South will head out to face Denver East at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while Rangeview will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th.
