Oakfield waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They never let the Lourdes Knights get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 17-0 win two weeks ago.

Oakfield's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Lourdes, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Oakfield will head out to square off against New Holstein at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Lourdes, they will venture away from home to challenge Princeton/Green Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
