The Hyde Park Thunderbirds will head out on the road to square off against the Perspectives Leadership/IIT/Joslin/Tech Warriors at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Hyde Park hasn't scored more than 12 points for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 44-12, which was the final score in Hyde Park's tilt against South Shore International on Friday.

Meanwhile, Perspectives Leadership/IIT/Joslin/Tech earned a 30-22 win over Goode STEM Academy on Saturday.

Perspectives Leadership/IIT/Joslin/Tech has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.6 points on average over those games. As for Hyde Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Hyde Park strolled past Perspectives Leadership/IIT/Joslin/Tech when the teams last played back in September of 2023 by a score of 22-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Thunderbirds since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
