Sumner Academy has gone 9-1 against Schlagle recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Sumner Academy Sabres will host the Schlagle Stallions at 7:00 p.m. Sumner Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Last Tuesday, Sumner Academy had to suffer through a 86-42 loss at the hands of Highland Park.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Schlagle). They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 66-38 win over Harmon. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Stallions considering their 29-point performance the game before.

Schlagle has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. As for Sumner Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Sumner Academy was able to grind out a solid victory over Schlagle in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 61-53. Will Sumner Academy repeat their success, or does Schlagle have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
