Softball Recap: Jurupa Valley Takes a Loss

Jurupa Valley and Norwalk squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Jurupa Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Jaguars couldn't push the score so high this time.

Jurupa Valley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Samantha Amancio, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Jurupa Valley's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Norwalk, the win got them back to even at 13-13-1.

Jurupa Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Norwalk, they will challenge Adelanto at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday.
