Harbor Teacher took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They put the hurt on Locke with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Monarchs haven't had any issues with the Saints recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Harbor Teacher never let Locke on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-23.

Meanwhile, George Washington Prep lost 3-0 to Dorsey on Monday. The Generals haven't had much luck with the Dons recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

George Washington Prep was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-12, 25-11.

George Washington Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Harbor Teacher, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.
