Basketball Recap: Amory's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

Amory lost against Shannon back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Amory Panthers took a 59-44 bruising from the Shannon Red Raiders. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Amory's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-11. As for Shannon, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Amory is taking a road trip to challenge Itawamba Agricultural at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Shannon, they will welcome Tishomingo County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
