Marple Newtown barely beat Springfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Fightin' Tigers were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Cougars on Thursday. Marple Newtown might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

Jonah Abraham and Benk Gahler scored all four of Marple Newtown's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Marple Newtown now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Springfield, they dropped their record down to 4-13 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road.
