Softball Recap: Boone's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Boone's offense. They fell 3-0 to the East River Falcons on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Braves' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

With the defeat, Boone broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-7. As for East River, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Coincidentally, Boone and East River will both be playing Colonial the next time they take the field. The Falcons will head out to face the Grenadiers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Braves will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
