After a string of nine wins, Eureka's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Lund Mustangs by a score of 47-44. The Vandals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 66-22.

Eureka's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 14-6. As for Lund, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eureka will face off against Wells at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lund has already played their next matchup (against Jackpot), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
