Irvington came out on top against Deer Valley on Tuesday thanks in part to Makiah Cherry's efforts. Cherry wasn't messing around, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. The matchup was also her fourth straight with at least one stolen base.

Cherry and Irvington will head out to face off against Mt. Eden at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Thanks in part to Cherry's efforts, Irvington will roll in on a three-game winning streak.
